I just got home from doing the Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair (quite a mouthful!). This was my first time at this show, and I had heard really great things. I was not disappointed! The show was well organized and had a great selection of high-quality art. Most of the booths are set up inside a parking garage which I was a little leery of at first. But it actually turned out really great-I was able to control the lighting on my paintings and have protection from the occasional afternoon rain shower. The area of course was BEAUTIFUL! I love the Seattle region- so much green! It was a very successful show and my family and I are so grateful for all the support and encouragement. Now I just have to hurry and get some paintings ready for Sausalito at the end of the month.

Summer Art Festivals
We are on the road in beautiful Colorado again for a few art festivals. I love being here. The mountains (and of course the trees!) really speak to me. I've had a great time showing my work in Breckenridge and the Vail Valley. The days in between shows have been full of family/friend time as we have taken to the tourist scene and really enjoyed the local sites and scenery. If you happen to be in the Vail area, this weekend is my last show in Colorado and I will be in Edwards at the Art on the Rockies festival- a fabulous show with many great artists. Hope to see you there!

The Celebration Begins
We are back in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona for our 4th year at the Celebration of Fine Art show. It's always a little hectic getting ready for this 10 week show-painting like crazy, moving everything down from Idaho, and building the booth/studio before the opening. I'm really excited for the Celebration show this year. I will be displaying a new body of work including figurative pieces and look forward to sharing them with the public. Check out the Celebration of Fine Art at http://www.celebrateart.com/.
January 12 - March 24
Corner of Loop 101 and Hayden Rd.
Scottsdale, AZ
I really changed things up with my booth this year. I wanted a space
where I could control the lighting better and show how my paintings
react in different light. I actually built a partial viewing room and
I'm really happy with how it turned out.
